A funny program cavalcade is waiting for you and your family at the PannoMania festival around the day: broached pig, grill and cauldron-cooked meals, winegrowers, hand workers, programs for children, star guests, music, dancing party etc.

WINE DESSERT COMPETITION:

HOUSEWIVES, ATTENTION: Compete your own dessert made with wine, the best one will be rewarded! (Cakes are collected between 12:00 and 16:00)

The parking place of the hotel is closed during the festival, entry only for pedestrians. A nearby parking lot is offered for the hotel guests.

The 4th Sopron Kékfrankos Wine King of Cooking-Election

Location: Hotel Sopron, garden

Join of nations in Sopron, because friends come together by a glass of good Kékfrankos red wine.

Registration for the competition for teams at least 6 members.

Conditions:
The teams of min 6 people should make any dishes cooked in a cauldron with a special red wine of Sopron, kékfrankos. The meal and the costume should reflect the characteristics of any nationality.

The jury of prominent masters and Olympic chefs: Kovács Lázár, celebrity chef, Hegedüs István, olympic champion, chef, Voleszák Zoltán, Schnitta-awarded restaurant master

Aspects of judgement (70% of the total score): name, regional characteristics, taste, origin, substance of the meal, harmony of flavours, individuality, creativity, the way of cooking, serving.
Meals and garnishment not made at location get no points.

The title of  Soproni Kékfrankos Chef will be awarded for the team cooking the best meal.

The team games give the 30% of the total score (between 1 - 5 p.m.)
Tyrolean Noodle Hunting (Nudel Jager) – Great Hungarian Plain Drumstick Catching – Bohemian Tub Riding (After idea of Zlaty Zmrzlinek, the Golden Ice cream Award winner master) – Test of strength of Jiri Musklovis from the polish salt mines – Peasant Golf – American Rolling Cheese - Karaoke and masquerade (6:30 pm.)

The participation on team games is facultative, but it is worth, because the team having the highest total score gets the title of Soproni Kékfrankos Wine King of Cooking.

Prizes for the winners:

• The prize of the Soproni Kékfrankos Chef: a one day teambuilding trip by Kisalföld Volán to Vienna, and 2 boxes of fine wine of Sopron offered by the Sopron’s Wine Marketing Company.
• The prize of the 4th Soproni Kékfrankos Wine King of Cooking: a fantastic wellness weekend with half board for 2 nights in Ramada Resort - Aquaworld Budapest ****Superior Hotel & Spa

Registration fee: 2.500 HUF / person
This includes the cauldron for the cooking competition, fire woods, participation on the team games, and participation on the festival programs.
Not includes the components of the meal, the consumption on the festival area

We would like to draw your attention that the language of the games and the festival is Hungarian; an interpreter can be hired for an extra fee.
